Graduated in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, he is active in residential and commercial space furnishings, temporary exhibition and design facilities, designing decorative items, lighting fixtures, household appliances, ceramic and glassware.
He is one of the founders of ADI, Association for Industrial Design (1956). Assistant to the Politecnico di Milano from 1953 to 1958, he held courses in various Italian, Portuguese and Japanese universities. Winner of the “Compasso d’oro” award in 1962, received a gold and silver medal at the XI Triennale.
