Ordinary professor at the School of Design at the Politecnico di Milano. Architect and designer, he has won numerous international design awards including the Compasso d'Oro, Die Gute Form, Bio.
His projects are part of the permanent collections of important museums in the world, including the Moma in New York and the Modern Art Museum in Munich.
Vice-president of ADI from 1992 to 1996, he was a member of the Scientific Committee of the Milan Triennale from 1996 to 2000 and twice curator of the Italian section.
His active scientific production is witnessed by more than 70 publications and numerous contributions to national and international conferences and conferences.
He has been a visiting professor at ESDI (Escola de Superiore Desenho Industrial) in Rio de Janeiro, and at Les Ateliers-ENSCI (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle) in Paris.
Since 2009 he is Coordinator of the PhD Program in Design of the Politecnico di Milano.
