Donato D’Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi were born in the 30s in Milan where they started operating in the 60’s around the field of architecture, interior design and product and industrial design. They designed industrial and residential buildings and worked in all the areas related to the industrial design of products for home, office and showroom spaces. Furthermore they worked with many of the major brands and companies both in Italy and abroad: Acerbis, Artemide, Alessi, Bonacina1889, Cassina, Driade, Naos, Valli&Valli, Poltronova, Stilnovo, Tonelli, Zanotta, Zerodisegno, Roset. Amongst the first acknowledgements we can count there are Compasso D’Oro award in 1979 in Milan, BIO award in 1977, BIO award in 1981 in Lubiana and Design Award Winner in 1998 in Hannover. Their work is exhibited in many international museums, both in the European continent and the United States, as well as documented in the historical literature regarding Italian Design, architecture and product design.
